Not sure what to include in a business development email to a prospect? Here’s one example, based on the results of a Raven Site Performance report.
Nice to meet you at the doggie day care summit recently!
I came upon your business card this morning and recalled our conversation. It got me curious about the health of your website.
I did some quick research and compared your site to a few of your potential competitors. It looks like your site loads very quickly, which is great, but in general similar websites appear to be more popular. This is a safe assumption based on the amount of folks linking to and mentioning your competitors instead of you.
There are a number of strategies to help people find you online, such as improving how “friendly” your website is to search engines and publishing regular, engaging articles. This, of course, translates to more business for you.
Let me know if you want to meet and talk over some possible strategies! I’ve helped a lot of companies make more money online, including many in your industry. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
