Email marketing is a large part of how internet marketers communicate to potential customers. And mining that data is a critical part of the job: consistently fine tuning the message so that it is seen by the biggest audience possible.
Monitoring and reporting on email metrics is a snap with Raven’s email metrics section. We have five great email integrations to make the process as easy as possible. Let’s take a look at Raven’s integrations with AWeber, Emma, Campaign Monitor, Constant Contact and MailChimp.

Get to know our email integrations
Integrated in 2011, Campaign Monitor and MailChimp were the first kids on the Raven block. Based on customer demand, we added Emma, Constant Contact and Aweber late last year. We share a home city with Emma (Nashville), a home region with MailChimp (the Southeast) and old hockey players with Aweber (Philadelphia). We finally got a non-stop flight to connect us to Constant Contact (Boston) and we dream of vacationing in the land of Campaign Monitor (Sydney, Australia).
All awesome in their own right, each provider allows anyone from a mom-and-pop shop to a Fortune 100 company to communicate easily with their customers via email campaigns.
Get started with email
Depending on your email campaign provider of choice, there are two methods you could use to connect your email integration within Raven: authorizing within the provider itself or entering your account’s API key. For Constant Contact, MailChimp and AWeber, we’ll take you out to those providers, where you can enter your login credentials, and then bring you back into Raven.
For Emma and and Campaign Monitor, you’ll need to know your account’s API key. (Don’t worry if you need help finding that. We’ll provide some links you can follow to get that information.)
Once you’ve authorized the account, you’ll see all of your campaigns populated into a table. From here you can select the campaign you’d like to view further metrics on.
Once there, you’ll see metrics on the individual campaign, email campaign traffic (once you connect Google Analytics) and a table of links from the campaign with their number of clicks. If you’d like to add more metrics, you can easily do so from the gear menu.
With Google Analytics connected, you’ll see a graph of the referring traffic that the campaign sent your website. Even better, if you have goals enabled within Google Analytics, you’ll have all of those goals available in a drop-down menu to see how many emails led to what goal completions.
You can easily create branded PDF reports on any email campaign you can access within Raven. Simply select “build report” from the top or add the data into a more comprehensive internet marketing report you create within the Report Wizard.
Good to know
You can connect an unlimited number of email providers to your Raven account, and an unlimited number of reports.
