Yay! Now You Can Post Photos and Videos From Raven

It’s one of our top feature requests at Raven, and today we’re crossing it off the list and putting it in your hands.

Raven has officially launched the ability to upload media – both photos and videos – within our social media tools.

So whether you’re working with a Twitter account or a Facebook page or profile, now you can post photos or a video along with your message. For both platforms you can upload .gif, .png, or .jpg file types.

For either social network, the process is as simple as choosing the file you want to include, composing your post and hitting send (for Twitter, be aware that it’ll add 23 characters to your tweet). You can also schedule these updates, just as you could before.

The messages will look identical to what you’re used to seeing when you publish from other platforms, or even directly from Twitter or Facebook themselves. Here’s a sample of what it looks like for Twitter:

And on Facebook, where Jon got all meta on us:

So give it a try and let us know what you think. We hope this makes Raven even more useful for all of your Internet marketing campaigns.

What can we do for you next? Let me know in the comments!

I think we’d consider a Buffer integration, but we’re more likely to build our own tool. But I’ll definitely pass your feedback along as we get to work on a solution!

Great addition guys! On the auto-scheduling Courtney, are you guys looking at developing your own tool? An integration with Buffer would be a killer feature seeing as they already integrate with so many other apps and you both work with bit.ly :)

  • RavenCourtney

Yay, that’s great to hear. And re: scheduling…we’re on it, Stephen. Promise! :)

  • Stephen Bradley

This is a great addition to Raven and will go a long way toward getting at least one of my social media managers out of Hootsuite. Now for auto-scheduling…. :)

  • RavenCourtney

    Glad to hear that!
