Live From the iPhone Launch in Nashville
I’m updating this post with photos and more below…
Four hours to go and I’m here at Green Hills Mall waiting patiently in line for an iPhone. I’m camped out on the floor next to Sharper Image. There’s about 150 people in line in front of me. The first guy was here at 4am! But don’t think this is some easy reporting assignment I’m on. Oh no! This is dangerous territory. I just got busted by mall security for taking pictures of the Apple store and the line. Not only was he rude and smelly, but he stood behind me and looked over my shoulder as he made sure I deleted the photos for the camera. “Security reasons” he said. No worries though. I only pretended to delete the photos. That’s right. Fight the man! Or something like that. Anyway, for your viewing pleasure, the top-secret photos are below.
Griffin just came down the line handing out free products to everyone.
Two Apple employees came walking down the line thanking everyone for waiting so patiently. They asked me if I was a coffee drinker. I said yes, and then handed me a free Starbucks card. Woo!
