Formerly known as MXDU, webDU is in its fourth year, attracting the majority of Australian developers, designers, managers and students with an interest in web technology.
Henshaw will present “Optimizing Standards Based Websites for Search Engines.” The session will help attendees learn search engine optimization techniques to increase exposure and traffic while adhering to modern Web and accessibility standards. The session will cover a variety of topics, including information architecture, code structure, strategic content and how to market without pay-per-click (PPC).
Henshaw is Sitening’s Internet strategist. He has more than 12 years experience developing websites. He’s managed small to enterprise-level projects and understands what it takes to make a website successful. Before Sitening, he worked as an Interaction Designer for Visa, where he helped develop Web applications for consumer and corporate clients.
