Dippin’ Dots Launches New Website

Paducah, KY — Beaded ice cream pioneer Dippin’ Dots, Inc. today launched its latest version of the www.dippindots.com website.

The company’s new site features all the essential website basics, plus blogs and galleries so Dippin’ Dots fans can keep up with all the latest news and events about their favorite ice cream.

“We’re always getting interesting pictures and stories from fans, including the celebrity world, that we love to share with other fans,” said Dippin’ Dots spokesman Terry Reeves, “our galleries are a perfect vehicle for sharing a lot of fun photos.”

The company’s online store is designed for customers to buy ice cream party packages and Dippin’ Dots logo’d merchandise and have it delivered straight to their home. Other features of the site include information for potential franchisees and national sales accounts, and information about the company’s global division.

Dippin’ Dots partnered with Nashville, Tennessee website design and Internet strategy firm Sitening to produce their new website. Sitening creates custom Web applications utilizing modern design, technology and search marketing techniques.

“We are thrilled to partner with Dippin’ Dots on their website,” said Anastasia Holdren, Sitening’s vice president of business development. “This new website is the first step in a comprehensive online marketing program that will help the company achieve greater online presence.”

Dippin’ Dots are tiny, cryogenically frozen beads of ice cream, yogurt, sherbet and flavored ice. Invented in 1988 by microbiologist and entrepreneur Curt Jones, Dippin’ Dots offers more than two-dozen different flavors, plus seasonal flavors. The company’s administrative and production headquarters are located in Paducah, Kentucky.

Dippin’ Dots are sold in more than 300 retail locations and thousands of entertainment venues and special events nationwide. The company’s Global division oversees international licenses.
