Scott Holdren, Sitening’s system architect, was quoted in the January 2008 issue of BusinessTN. The story, titled: “Small Business: IT Quest” discusses the ways technology companies find tech-savvy employees in a tech-saturated work place.
Scott talked about how staying active in the local tech community by participating and sponsoring technology events — like last year’s BarCamp Nashville and the upcoming PodCamp Nashville. These events help employees stay abreast of the latest technology innovations and promotes networking within the community.
“We demonstrate that we’re committed to technology and new things in our industry,” Holdren says. “We write about topics that resonate with the people that we’re trying to attract, and then they participate. We start to network that way.”
