Announcing the Winners of the Facebook Tool Launch Contest

Last Tuesday we launched our new Facebook tool at BlueGlass LA. We also announced a contest to win a free pass to Search Engine Strategies in San Francisco.

Want to win a pass to SES San Francisco this August? All you have to do is post a picture of yourself and the Raven logo to our Facebook wall. Be funny, creative and have fun! You have until Friday to enter and on Monday we’ll choose our two favorite photos as the winners!

After much deliberation, we’ve chosen our two favorite photos. It was a very difficult decision, because we had some excellent submissions. Before I announce the winners, here’s a taste of the other pictures that were submitted.

Grace Kang

Grace Kang, of CentralDesktop, is the first of two winners for the free SES SF passes. She impressed us with her brute strength and tattoo of Raven. We determined that the tattoo was slightly distorted in the picture, mainly due to the amount of muscles flexing when the picture was taken.

We asked Grace what she thought of Raven and our new Facebook tool, and here’s what she had to say.

I first turned to Raven for its impressive link building toolset, but now it has become an integral part of all my search marketing strategies. The Raven team continually amazes me by pumping out new tool after tool, the most recent of which is their new Facebook tool.

This tool allows me to monitor my Facebook efforts from within the same platform that I use every day for link building and keyword research. It lets you post to your wall, schedule updates, view interaction trends, and create branded PDF reports from your Facebook data – all from within your Raven account! My favorite feature is the ability to create PDF reports, which I plan to start sending to my marketing team weekly to keep them updated on the progress of our Facebook marketing efforts.

The Facebook tool, coupled with the Raven Persona Manager, makes social media monitoring fast, easy and efficient. Thanks Raven!

Adrian Vender

Adrian Vender, a consultant and technical implementation specialist with WebShare, was the second winner of the Facebook contest. Adrian caught our attention, because his picture spoke to our inner rockstar! Raven the band – sounds good to us!

This tool is a great way to monitor Facebook Page activity and interact with our fans, all in one place! Also, the GA traffic integration will be very insightful for seeing how Page activity influences traffic to our site.
